What a beautiful Spring we have been enjoying! I hope everyone is happy and healthy. If any of your friends noticed they did not receive their newsletter this month it might be because they have forgotten to renew their membership. As soon as they do so, their newsletter will return, along with many discounted prices.

The Mardi Gras/Saint Patrick’s Day Dance was lots of fun. However due to the low turn out, the May dance has been canceled.

Get ready for our Spring Picnic – Sunday, May 20^th, Washington Crossing Park, NJ, Green Grove, 1 – 5 pm (the grill closes at 3). For $15 members and $20 non-members, enjoy our usual gourmet picnic fare, games, fun and conversation with all your Yardley Singles Friends under the pavillion, rain or shine. Due to popular demand, The Chinese Auction is back!!! Please bring a wrapped gift, valued at no more than $5 - $10. Then watch the fun!

Other outdoor activities for May and June will include Walking at Washington Crossing Park along the beautiful Delaware Canal Path on Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons, and Wednesday evenings as well as Biking from Washington Crossing to Lambertville including a tour of Lambertville with Fred Roberts.

Baseball Game: Seventeen tickets are available for a Trenton Thunder game on Friday, June 8^th at 7pm. See Phyllis or call the hotline to purchase a ticket for $8, first come, first served.

Pizza Night Reminder: For the safety of everyone in attendance, please remain seated while Pizza is being served as requested by our hosts at Vinces.

RESERVATION POLICY: Please try to make your reservations early to accommodate our planners. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

DINNER REMINDER: PLEASE REMEMBER to bring cash for all eating events. We each pay for our dinner plus 25% for tax and gratuity. Also, please call the hotline to cancel from an event rather than using the email address. We do not check that every day.

Yardley Park’n’Ride Info: Located off the Yardley I-95 exit on Taylorsville Road. Meet in the middle of the lot for carpooling events. A board member may not be at this location. It is up to those in attendance to determine what time to leave and arrange the carpooling. Don’t forget to share the expenses of driving.

House Party/Game Night Info: A reservation is required for all events held at someone’s home. Attendance is limited. Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks are provided. BYOB and non-member attendance is at the discretion of the host/hostess. Cost varies depending on the type of function. PLEASE CALL THE HOTLINE IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL A RESERVATION.

Yardley Singles Club Inc is a non-profit social club whose purpose is to plan and organize entertainment activities for single adults in an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere. Some couples do attend and are welcome. The majority of club members are single men and women.
